Events Open Ceremony. To be held at the Administration Building, Universidad Nacional del Sur (Av. Colón 80), on Monday 29. Welcome reception. A welcome lunch will be offered on Monday 29, at the Conference Venue (Included in the Registration Fee). Lunch on Tuesday 30 and Thursday 2 is also included for registered participants. Official dinner. An optional official dinner and tango show will be offered on Wednesday 1st, at Club Argentino, an historical building in Bahía Blanca, just in front of the Administration Building, Universidad Nacional del Sur (U$S 25). Our menu includes: Starter: Mousse de Roquefort con cintas de zanahoria y jamón Serrano (Mousse made of Roquefort cheese, served with carrot salad and Parma ham) Main course: Pollo relleno con mousse de puerro, papas rústicas y ratatouille (stuffed chicken, filled with leek mousse, served with baked potatoes and mixed vegetables) Dessert: Copa helada con frutos rojos (Ice-cream with mixed berries) Dinner will be served with Argentinean Malbec, and includes coffee and champagne. We need to confirm places on Monday 29 in the evening, but your email reservation will greatly help us with the organization. Excursions Bahía Blanca Estuary - A boat ride along the estuary (U$S 40). It is a half day excursion, sailing main channels of the estuary. It includes coffee service, snacks, drinks, and a cold lunch on board. There are 10 places available. (U$S 40) It is a whole day excursion (from 9:00 to 16:00) driving through the geomorphology, plant communities and human transformations along the northern coast of the estuary. It includes bus transportation, printed field guides, “alfajores” (Argentinean sweets), coffee and “mate” (a local beverage), and a special home made lunch prepared by the members of the Women Association at Ingeniero White, and served at the old port museum. by FresnoViajes Social activities Tango lessons (U$S 5 per lesson). On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings (from 20:00 to 22:00) Evangelina and Enrique, two local dancers will give you some insights on our most passionate dance. Those people participating on the Tuesday lesson, will have the option to stay in a real "milonga" after the class (milonga is the Argentinean name for a tango dancers reunion, where locals gather to share just tango and a light meal).
