Abstract Submission

Guidelines for Authors
- Abstracts will only be accepted in English
- Abstracts must be submitted in electronic format via the web page

Exceptionally we will receive abstracts as attached to an e-mail. If you need to do so, please consult
the file format with the Secretariat before sending it. Abstracts sent by mail or fax will not be
considered.
- The presenting author will be advised by e-mail of the acceptance or otherwise of their
abstract during June, 2008.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in a CD ROM.
- All presenting authors must register and pay the appropriate registration
fee and this fee is nonrefundable. Very Important: No abstract will
be processed until the Abstract Submission payment is confirmed.
- Up to a maximum of two abstracts may be submitted by any fully registered participant.
- While every effort will be made to meet author's requests, the Organizing Committee will
decide on the form of Oral or Poster presentation and the appropriate symposium.
- Abstracts must be up to 250 words long
- The title must be comprehensive and specific of the work being submitted.
- When the study corresponds to a specific place, the country where it is located must me also included in the title
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and the corresponding author will be informed within one month of the deadline regarding its acceptance/rejection.
- Authors will be invited to submit full papers of their submissions. At the present time we have received invitations for special issues of the ECSA 44 symposia from Estuarine, Coastal and Shelf Sciences and for journals of the Editorial Wiley-Blackwell.
